Depth of Knowledge continues to be a focus and priority in education. Unfortunately, much of the information presented and provided on DOK as a concept and framework has been inaccurate or inconsistent. In this presentation, participants will learn how Depth of Knowledge clarifies the cognitive demand of academic standards, curricular activities, and assessments. Participants will also learn how to use the DOK levels to plan and provide teaching and learning experiences that are standards-based, socially and emotionally supportive, and student responsive.
